Corrective nasal surgery

The outer nose determined to a large extent our appearance and is thus an expression of the personality as well.
Interventions designed to alter the form of the outer nose have been performed for more than 100 years, making this the most frequently performed cosmetic operation.
For more exact planning, since 1999 we have established the use of computer simulation in advance of the planned operation in order to determine the best nasal form individually with the patient.
At the same time, before every intervention we consider the functional aspects of a possible nasal breathing impairment and eliminate this if necessary during the same operative session. This is done using a closed technique without scar formation from outside, i.e. external incisions are not required.
As a result of many years of experience and interventions performed daily, we have specialised in this area, as documented by the recommendations of the North Rhine General Medical Council, journals, forums, and also patients and medical colleagues.
Note that a nasal correction may not be performed before the age of 16, as the growth of the bony nose is otherwise not yet completed.
The range of corrective nasal operations includes all corrections of the outer nasal form, whether inborn malformations, i.e. hump nose, too large a nose, too small a nose, lacking nasal tip profile, hanging nose, malformations of the nasal tip, missing nasal columella, restrictions of the vestibules of the nose, deformations of the outer nose as the result of an accident, and revision interventions following pervious operations
